About three or four times a year, Mercury speeds past Earth and we experience chaos and disruption as it races past and kicks up a gust of havoc. This can affect our feelings and our communication with others; including listening, speaking, learning, negotiating, selling, buying etc.

Don’t make any important decisions when Mercury is retrograde. Nothing will be settled successfully.

Mercury retrograde periods are not good times to do anything involving communications… be extra careful too when sending important documents, emails or any type of message. These periods are notorious for causing computers to crash and for machines, appliances and other electronic devices to play up!

Weird things happen during these phases.

During Mercury retrograde couples tend to have miscommunications, which in turn results in a host of misunderstandings. People are not always thinking straight during these phases and Mercury retrograde is notorious for creating confusion.

If the retrograde is in your sign, (Gemini during this particular disruptive phase) delays and frustrations will become even more pronounced than usual.

Mercury retrograde is also a time to “reflect” — to expand your awareness into the back corners of your mind and the mysterious depths of your unconscious.
